Privacy Policy

RoCodex ("we", "us") provides a developer tool that connects AI coding assistants to Roblox Studio. This policy explains what we collect and why. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

  • Account & billing. When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your email and payment details. We store your email and a license key associated with your subscription. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • License validation. When the RoCodex binary starts, it sends your license key and a hardware identifier (HWID) to our servers to confirm an active subscription and prevent key sharing.

What we do NOT collect

  • Your code. All communication between your editor, the RoCodex binary, and Roblox Studio happens locally on your machine. Your game code, scripts, and project data never pass through or get stored on our servers.
  • Documentation searches and Studio commands are processed locally and are not logged by us.

How we use your data

We use your email to deliver your license key and important account or service notices, and the license/HWID data to operate licensing. We do not sell your data.

Third-party services

  • Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Supabase — stores license records (email, license key, subscription status).
  • Resend — sends your license-key and account emails.

Data retention

We keep your license and email records for as long as your account exists and as needed for legal and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your account data at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
